Suspected DUI Drag Racer Does Hit & Run on Innocent Victim | San Diego

10.16.2021 | 2:11 AM | SAN DIEGO – A witness told the Police that the driver of the Camaro and a Mustang were racing each other on eastbound Del Sol, Blvd, when the Camaro came upon a truck being driven by a male too fast.

The Camaro hit the truck at a high speed and sent the truck over 100 feet before it crashed into several fences and then hit a shed tilting it.

The driver was extricated and suffered a head injury.

He was transported to a local hospital for that head injury.

The driver of the Camaro walked over to the truck crash and then fled on foot and the witness told the Police that the driver appeared to be intoxicated.

The male driver of the Mustang came back to the scene and did a drive bye to see the damage and then left.
