Suspected Arsonist Torches Mobile Homes & Vehicles | Perris

03.03.2022 | 10:19 PM | PERRIS – Cal Fire Riverside County, Perris and Cal Fire Prevention responded to multiple calls of multiple trailers on fire.

While units were in route they received another call indicating that there were multiple explosions heard at the fire and people screaming, which prompted a AMR to be dispatched.

When they arrived they found 2 mobile homes, an RV and multiple vehicles fully engulfed on the property.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, Cal Fire Prevention/Police was on scene and said that they were looking for a possible arson suspect and called the fire a crime scene.

The 2 mobile homes and the RV are a total loss, as well as at least 3 vehicles at the residence.

6 people are displaced but have family members that they can stay with, Red Cross was not needed.

Crews will remain on scene for at least 4 more hours for mop up.

At the 2:20 time stamp you can see Cal Fire Prevention/Police Arriving on scene and looking for a suspect.
