Suspected Arson at Motel Displaces More Than 50 People | San Diego
04.04.2022 | 4:49 AM | SAN DIEGO – A female is suspected of starting what was described as a bonfire inside of one of the La Cresta Motels’ rooms.
The fire destroyed the room.
The fire and smoke did spread to other rooms/areas of this motel.
One person suffered from smoke inhalation but refuse medical attention.
The electricity was cut off to the entire motel, and over 50 people will be displaced.
The American Red Cross has been requested to come and aid these people.
The woman suspected of the arson has been detained by the Police.
The MAST is investigating.
El Cajon Blvd is closed in both directions of the 4900 block.
