Suspect Stops and Restarts Pursuit | Houston
09.08.2021 | 10:00 PM | HOUSTON – Officers attempted to stop the Honda Minivan however the driver would not yield so a pursuit began (in the area of TC Jester 610).
The driver fled south and stopped at 6101 Waltway Dr.
The driver refused to exit the vehicle and barricaded for roughly 30 mins.
The driver eventually put the minivan inn reverse and fled once again.
The suspect was spiked and eventually crashed into a bus stop at 1751 Mangum.
He again refused to exit the vehicle.
Officers formed an arrest team and took the man into custody.
Per radio traffic the suspect has a lengthy rap sheet with multiple felonies.
It is unclear why the driver fled.
