Suspect Leads Deputies on Pursuit in Stolen Vehicle

LOCATION: 700 block of Avenida De Benito Juarez ended at EB SR78/Civic Center
AREA/CITY: Vista
DETAILS:

  1. At around 9:41 PM, 911 received a report of a stolen vehicle at the address stated above
  2. Sheriff’s deputies searched the area for the vehicle and located it near Los Angeles and North Santa Fe.
  3. They attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver failed to yield, so a pursuit was initiated.
  4. The vehicle eventually entered the eastbound lanes of State Route 78 At Civic Center and crashed
  5. Three people in the vehicle were arrested.
  6. The driver is believed to be under the influence.
  7. No injuries were reported as a result of this pursuit crash
