Suspect Killed After Crashing During Pursuit

DETAILS:

1. A male in his 20’s was seen speeding in the southbound lanes of National City Blvd in front of the NCPD Headquarters.
2. An officer attempted to pull the driver over, and the driver fled at high speed.
3. After passing 26th St, the driver hit the sidewalk curb, and the driver lost control.
4. The car hit a tree and then some electrical junction boxes before hitting a car in the Frank Used Car lot.
5. The suspects’ car re-entered the street, and the driver was ejected.
6. The male died at the scene.
7. National City Blvd is closed for the investigation between 26th St and 30th St.
