On September 19, 2025, at approximately 12:57 a.m., San Bernardino police were in pursuit of a vehicle when it collided with another car on the Highland Avenue off-ramp of the northbound 259 Connector.

The suspect driver was taken into custody at the scene and transported by AMR to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
