Suspect Gets Shot With His Own Gun During Altercation

AREA/CITY: Union Station, Downtown LA

A man pulled a gun on someone in the north area drop off and pick up of Union Station. The victim tackled the suspect and began to beat him up. During the fight the gun went off hitting the suspect. The victim took the gun and started hitting the suspect with it causing the gun’s cartridge to fall out spilling the ammo onto the ground. The suspect took off and was arrested by LAPD. The victim, a tall man wearing all black, can be seen talking with LAPD pointing out were things took place. Unknown if it was a robbery attempt and or something else. The suspect was transported by LAFD with wounds from the fight and from being shot.
