Suspect Fights With Deputies After Pursuit

DETAILS:

  1. On April 2nd, 2025, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to make a stop on a vehicle in Grand Terrace that was possibly related to illegal dumping in the area.
  2. The vehicle failed to yield initially, and a short pursuit occurred.
  3. The suspect stopped near Pico Street and Michigan Street, and the driver did not comply with the officer’s commands to exit the vehicle.
  4. Eventually, officers approached the vehicle and pulled the driver out.
  5. Still not complying, the officers had to restrain his hands and legs until more officers were able to escort him to a patrol vehicle.
  6. San Bernardino County Fire and AMR arrived to check out the suspect, but the suspect declined any treatment.
