Suspect Crashes Twice Before Arrest In San Bernardino

At approximately 8:40 p.m. on June 5, 2026, a vehicle being pursued by San Bernardino Police crashed into a power pole and fence near the intersection of West 11th Street and Mountain View in San Bernardino.

Despite the initial collision, the driver continued eastbound on 11th Street before crashing into a parked vehicle east of Sierra Way, causing major damage and bringing the pursuit to an end.

Officers quickly moved in and took the male suspect into custody without further incident.

San Bernardino County Fire personnel responded to evaluate the suspect following the crash. Authorities said he declined further medical treatment at the scene.

No other injuries were reported as a result of the pursuit or collisions.

Officials have not released the reason for the pursuit, and the investigation remains ongoing.
