Suspect Climbs on Jewelry Store Awning, Refuses to Come Down | Los Angeles

01.03.2022 | 9:18 PM | LOS ANGELES – LAPD responded to reports of a trespass suspect.

Officers arrived and found a man standing on the awning of “The Jewelry Plaza” store.

A ladder was requested.

The man climbed and sat down on the ladder, but refused to come down.

Officers negotiated with the man for over 30 minutes.

The suspect finally came down and resisted as he was being loaded into the stretcher.

The man was transported to a local area hospital with unknown injuries.
