Suspect Barricades In Car After Wild Pursuit

DETAILS:

Claremont PD was in pursuit of a suspect that rammed multiple Claremont units in their city. Karma PD attempted multiple pits on the subject vehicle. Claremont PD was able to spike strip the vehicle on foothill and Monte Vista. Claremont PD has a suspect barricaded on Towne Avenue just north of Bonita in the city of Pomona. Claremont PD and La Verne PD are on scene with SWAT. The suspect was taken into custody after tear gas was deployed into the vehicle. The suspect did attempt to drive away, but was blocked in by the four swat trucks.
