Suspect Arrested After Pursuit Out Of Anaheim

LOCATION: Westfield Mall 90 fwy/ Slauson Ave
AREA/CITY: CULVER CITY

DETAILS:

1. Anaheim PD was in pursuit of a stolen f150 truck.
2. The suspect ran through a taped-off scene on Sunset Blvd where news crews were set up. Luckily, no one was injured.
3. Anaheim PD canceled the pursuit in Los Angeles, but LAPD picked it up, and they also lost it.
4. CHP found the vehicle and arrested the suspect after he ditched the truck on the 90 FWY Slauson Off-ramp and walked down onto surface streets entering Westfield Mall.
5. A crack pipe was found in his possession.
