Suspect Arrested After High Speed Pursuit | Phoenix

11.14.2022 | 11:00 PM | PHOENIX – Troopers and Pinal County Sheriff deputies with assistance from the Mesa Police helicopter were in pursuit of a green Jeep Laredo occupied by 4 males travelling 110+ MPH as it entered the Ahwatukee area on Westbound I-10. The pursuit made its way west on the 10 before transitioning to the northbound lanes of the I-17 Durango Curve. The vehicle exited at 7th Street where 4 males exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Phoenix Police responded into the area to assist. All 4 males including the driver were quickly located and apprehended. Troopers have confirmed that the incident is human trafficking related. The driver (hat / red & black Nautica shirt) is in DPS custody and 3 possible migrants are detained. Troopers are working to interview the 3 passengers to gather further information.
