Suspect Apprehended, Several Escape After Pursuit And Manhunt | San Diego

01.28.2022 | 4:17 AM | SAN DIEGO – 4 people broke into a closed Nyala Tobacco Emporium and stole a large number of cigarettes and an unknown amount of cash. Officers spotted the suspects and a pursuit began going throughout the area and ended in Santee at the Southbound SR-125 and Mission Gorge Rd. The suspects crashed on the on-ramp to the SR-125 from westbound SR-52. The 4 suspects then fled on foot. One male was taken down by an SDPD K-9 and arrested. The other 3 escaped after a large manhunt was conducted. A liquor store in Carmel Valley was also broken into earlier and it may be these people who are responsible for that.
