Sunland: Crash Sends Vehicle Into Storefront

01.30.2020 | 10:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – A vehicle slammed into the front of a store, early Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a structure in the 7800 block of Foothill Boulevard in the Sunland area around 10:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a white two-door vehicle that apparently struck a curb and a power pole before slamming into the front of a store.

The solo driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was not immediately transported to a hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation but may be speed-related.

Building officials are responding to evaluate the structural integrity of the building.
