Sun Valley: Motorcycle Crash Leaves One Rider Dead, Another Seriously Injured

07.19.2020 | 10:43 PM | LOS ANGELES – A motorcycle crash left one rider dead and another seriously injured, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to the reported crash on the southbound I-5 Freeway near Lankershim Boulevard in the Sun Valley area around 10:43 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a motorcycle with two passengers that were ejected after being struck by a white BMW X5.

One of the riders was struck by a vehicle after being ejected and later pronounced deceased on scene.

The second rider was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the BMW was uninjured.

Officers are investigating the circumstanced surrounding the deadly motorcycle crash.
