Sun Valley: Firefighters Rescue Woman From 15-Foot Trench

02.27.2020 | 2:30 AM | LOS ANGELES – A woman who fell down a trench was rescued by firefighters, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a rescue near the southbound I-5 Freeway and Sheldon Street in the Sun Valley area around 2:30 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a 51-year-old woman suffering from injuries after falling to the bottom of a 15-foot trench.

Crews used an aerial ladder to assist in hoisting the woman to safety.

Paramedics treated the woman on scene before transporting her to Holy Cross Hospital in stable condition,.

The cause of the fall was unclear.
