Studio City: Home Found Engulfed By Heavy Fire

03.13.2020 | 3:40 AM | LOS ANGELES – A home was destroyed after being found engulfed in heavy fire, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire burning in the 3700 block of Eureka Drive in the Studio City area around 3:40 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a 2,282-square-foot home engulfed in heavy fire.

The massive blaze and a low-pressure fire hydrant complicated efforts to extinguish the blaze but both occupants from the home escaped without injury.

Firefighters extinguished the bulk of the blaze in just under an hour but the home of origin sustained substantial damage including a partial roof collapse.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
