Structures, Vehicles and Vegetation Burn in Fire | Moreno Valley
08.28.2022 | 1:28 PM | MORENO VALLEY – Cal Fire Riverside County, Moreno Valley fire fighters responded to multiple calls of a structure fire.
When units arrived they found a property that had 3 residences on it with heavy smoke and flames showing.
After accessing the property they found multiple vehicles behind the residences, along with at least one out building, vegetation and a fence of a neighboring apartment complex on fire.
One of the houses did sustain some exterior damage and at least 4-6 cars and at least one out building were a total loss.
A number of other belonging in the back yard are a total loss.
About 50% of the fence that separates the house from the apartments was a total loss.
Multiple people are displaced and Red Cross has been notified.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Hemlock Ave between Deerwood Lane and Swegles Lane will remain closed for at least 2 hours while crews mop up the fire.
