Street Racing Truck Tries Fleeing from CHP | City of Industry

02.01.2021 | 11:23 PM | CITY OF INDUSTRY – CHP Officers were monitoring the area for street racing activity when they got information of a street takeover in an industrial complex of Capitol Ave & Mission Mill Road

Multiple CHP officers pulled into the area to shut down the street takeover and found a lowered white truck that may have fled from them earlier in a prior pursuit they lost visual of

The truck failed to yield and fled along with a group of street racers and a pursuit was initiated

The truck continued north on the 605 before transitioning west on the 60 freeway and spinning out by Peck Road

The four occupants of the truck were detained at gunpoint by officers and surrendered peacefully

Freeway lanes were temporarily blocked by CHP as the felony stop took place before they drove the suspects and truck off the freeway

The four were questioned and it’s unclear how many of them will be facing charges. This truck was unrelated to their earlier pursuit.
