Stolen Vehicle Rams Police Car On Camera

- A man in a stolen Hyundai was looking to break into multiple businesses in a strip mall. What he didn’t know is one for the business owners was watching on security cameras and had called 911.
- A Kent officer pulled in as the man was attempting to leave and blocked him in, the man in the stolen car then attempted to push the cop car before going into reverse and plowing through flower beds to try and escape.
- Once on 272nd with more units closing in and the car heavily damaged from curbs around the flower bed he attempted to flee on foot but was soon taken into custody.
- Puget Sound Fire was called in to evaluate the suspect from the accident
- Bellevue PD asked to take the care into evidence as they’ve tied it to multiple burglaries in Bellevue
