Stolen Vehicle Pursuit In San Bernardino

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 3-16-24 11:30 PM
LOCATION: Riverside-San Bernardino 215 Freeway
AREA/CITY: Riverside/San Bernardino
DETAILS:

1. Riverside Sheriff’s Department was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle on the Westbound 60 Freeway.
2. The suspect continued to the Northbound 215 Freeway and exited at Baseline in San Bernardino.
3. After making several laps on city streets, the suspect continued onto the Northbound 215.
4. He exited at University Parkway and re-entered the Southbound 215, where he eventually foot-bailed from the vehicle and ran across all lanes of the 215 Freeway.
5. He was finally taken into custody without further incident with help from the two air units overhead.
