Stolen U-Haul Van Crashes After Pursuit

11.09.2020 | 11:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – LAPD Rampart found a U-Haul van that was stolen with two occupants inside. Officers attempted to stop the van but the driver failed to yield and led officers on a pursuit. The driver rear ended a motorist on the SB 110 just south of I-10 (SEE SOT WITH DRIVER). The van became disabled on the Adams Ave and the driver took off on foot into the bushes. Officers called for a K-9 unit and when the suspect heard the K-9, he surrendered to officers without incident.
