DETAILS:
- Anaheim Police Department responded to a reported hit from a plate reader on a stolen older model, Chevy pick up truck.
- Officers found the vehicle and initiated a stop, at that time the driver fled, through several neighborhoods at a high rate of speed.
- When the truck entered La Palma Ave and Gilbert Street, it crashed into two cars that were waiting for the light at the intersection.
- The driver fled on foot but was taken into custody a short distance away.
- One of the vehicles that was hit was an Amazon truck. That driver, as well as the second victim driver refused transportation by AMR.
