Stolen Mercedes Hits Multiple Cars, Multiple Patients Transported | Anaheim

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 2-21-23, 8:17 p.m. LOCATION: 2130 W Crescent Ave CITY: Anaheim DETAILS: Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to a reported traffic collision involving multiple vehicles. When police arrived on scene they found three vehicles involved and one patient trapped. A man driving a newer model, stolen, Mercedes-Benz was driving at a high rate of speed when he hit another vehicle head on and then veered into a second vehicle before he went off the road and into the bushes. The suspect then exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Anaheim Police set up a perimeter and the man was located by police K-9. The suspect transported to a local area hospital suffering from multiple dog bite wounds. A woman who was in the vehicle that was hit head on was extricated and transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries, her passenger was also transported with unknown injuries.
