Stolen Car Pursuit Ends With Vehicle Crashing Into LAX Property

DETAILS:

1. CHP was in pursuit of a black vehicle possibly from DTLA.
2. The car crashed with a red sedan at one point.
3. The stolen car lost control and flew off the off ramp landing onto the ground below inside LAX property.
4. CHP officers found a gun and a saw used to cut catalytic converters along with a dealership computer used to overide a key to turn on vehicles.
5. The driver was arrested and transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
6. The driver of the red sedan that was hit suffered no injuries. He was hancuffed briefly for unknown reasons but was released.
7. A handgun can be seen in a plastic bag CHP showed me inside their trunk along with burglary tools.
