Stevenson Ranch: High-Speed Crash Leaves One Dead

11.08.2020 | 6:18 PM | STEVENSON RANCH – LACoFD responded to a solo vehicle into a tree near the intersection of Verne Court & Poe Parkway.

Firefighters arrived to find one vehicle on its side into a tree. One person was trapped inside of the car and was pronounced deceased by firefighters

The vehicle appears to have been traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Poe Parkway when it lost control & crashed into a light pole before crashing into a tree

The California Highway Patrol Newhall division is handling the investigation. The coroner has been requested and is en-route from downtown.
