Stanton: Suspected DUI Driver Crashes Into Building

11.22.2019 | 10:10 PM | STANTON – A suspected DUI driver crashed a large truck into a building, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision into a building at the Goldenwest Lawnmowers Shop in the 10600 block of Beach Boulevard around 10:10 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a large work truck that had struck a power pole before crashing into a building.

The driver was uninjured but later arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The building sustained minor damage and the power pole required immediate replacement.
