Stanton: Suspect Dead After Deputy-Involved Shooting

08.21.2019 | 7:30 PM | STANTON – One person was dead after a deputy-involved shooting, Wednesday night.

The shooting occured around 7:30 PM in the 10000 block of Sycamore Avenue in Stanton.

Details regarding the events leading up to the shooting were not immediately released but authorities confirmed that a deputy opened fire on the suspect.

A crime scene was established while detectives responded to the scene to investigate.
