Stanton: Hit-And-Run Crash Shears Hydrant
02.26.2019 | 2:15 AM | STANTON – A hit-and-run crash left a sheared fire hydrant, early Tuesday morning.
Authorities responded to the reported crash involving a fire hydrant at the intersection of Katella Avenue and Dale Street around 2:15 AM.
Units arriving on scene found a sheared fire hydrant and one vehicle with damage.
Witnesses reported that two vehicles collided, causing the driver of one vehicle to lose control and strike the fire hydrant.
The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene.
Deputies are investigating the incident ad a hit and run crash.
