Stanton: Garage Fire Displaces Family

11.20.2018 | 11:12 PM | STANTON – A family was displaced after flames ripped through their home’s garage, Tuesday night.

Firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the 7300 block of Cerritos Avenue shortly after 11:10 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a two-story condominium with heavy smoke coming from an attached garage.

Crews made entry to the home’s garage and quickly extinguished the flames.

Smoke and water damage resulting from the fire rendered the home uninhabitable, displacing its residents.

The Red Cross was requested to assist with housing the displaced residents.

No injuries were reported.
