Stanton: Female Bicyclist Struck By Hit & Run Driver

02.17.2020 | 1:15 AM | STANTON – A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while riding her bicycle, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a bicyclist at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Pacific Avenue around 1:15 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a female bicyclist down in the roadway suffering from injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the woman on scene before transporting her to UCI Medical Center in unknown condition.

The driver that struck the woman fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

Deputies are looking for the driver and vehicle, described only as a SUV.
