Stanton: Deputy Injured In Crash With Big Rig

11.04.2018 | 11:50 PM | STANTON – A deputy was hospitalized after a crash involving a big rig, late Sunday night.

Firefighters responded to a reported traffic collision at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Katella Avenue just before midnight.

Crews arriving on scene found an Orange County Sheriff’s Department patrol cruiser along with a white bobtail big rig.

The sheriff’s deputy was treated on scene before being transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The big rig driver was treated on scene but released at the scene.

A cause of the crash was not immediately available.
