Spring Valley: Fugitive Taken Into Custody After SWAT Standoff

11.14.2019 | 5:00 PM | SPRING VALLEY – A fugitive task force took a wanted man into custody after a standoff that involved the use of flashbang devices, Thursday.

Authorities tracking Omar Pacheco, a felon wanted on multiple felony charges, descended on the Sweetwater Lodge in Spring Valley, Thursday evening.

Members of the fugitive task force believed Pacheco was inside of a trailer home at the location but had barricaded himself inside.

After an hours long standoff a SWAT team used flashbang devices and attempted to make entry into the home.

At the same time the fugitive attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended.
