Spring: Truck T-Bones Suspected DUI Driver

02.25.2019 | 1:30 AM | SPRING – Three people were hospitalized after a t-bone style crash, Monday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported crash involving a big rig near the intersection Treaschwig and Aldine Westfield around 1:30 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a large box truck that had apparently t-boned a small sedan.

One person was trapped inside the sedan and had to be extricated. That victim along with two others from the sedan were treated on scene before being transported to area hospitals.

The driver of the truck did not suffer any injuries and remained on scene to cooperate with law enforcement.

Initial reports indicate the driver of the sedan admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol.
