At approximately 8:00 p.m. on April 5, 2026, SpaceX had targeted the launch of 25 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base, though the mission was delayed.
The launch was successfully carried out at about 7:50 p.m. on April 6, 2026, and was visible across parts of Southern California, including footage captured from Riverside, Inglewood, and San Diego.
The bright object seen near the rocket’s path was Venus in the western sky.
