South LA Street Takeover Shut Down By LAPD

LOCATION: VERNON AVE AND FIGUEROA ST
AREA/CITY: LOS ANGELES SOUTH LA
DETAILS:

1. A large group of people blocked the intersection of Vernon Ave and S Figueroa St for over an hour.
2. The large group of mostly teens were setting off fireworks and inhaling NOS out of balloons.
3. LAPD approached the group and the teens scattered and drove off almost crashing into each other.
4. One red mustang was stopped and police looked under the hood for any illegal modifications.
