South Gate: Car To Car Shooting Injures Two
12.19.2018 | 11:50 PM | SOUTH GATE – An altercation ended with two people being shot while driving along a local street, late Wednesday night.
Authorities responded to reports of two people shot inside a car in the 8100 block of San Juan avenue around 11:50 PM.
Units arriving on scene found two victims inside a vehicle suffering form gunshot wounds.
Firefighter paramedics treated both victims on scene before transporting them to an area hospital where they remain hospitalized.
An initial investigation revealed the victims were involved in an argument at a local gas station with a suspect who followed them in a vehicle and then opened fired.
No description of the suspect or their vehicle was immediately available but officers were reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses.
