South Gate: Authorities Investigate After Body Found In Riverbed

01.03.2019 | 10:37 AM | SOUTH GATE – Authorities were investigating after a body was found in a riverbed, Thursday morning.

Police and fire officials responded to reports of a person down in the Los Angeles River just south of East Firestone Boulevard around 10:37 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a lifeless body in the riverbed.

The gender and age of the victim were not immediately known.

Officials were on scene continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
