South El Monte: Man Found Dead Inside Burning Truck

07.10.2020 | 1:28 PM | SOUTH EL MONTE – A man was found dead inside a burning truck, Friday afternoon.

Authorities responded to reports of a truck fire in the 11600 block of Thienes Avenue, near the San Gabriel River Trail, around 1:28 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a white Ford Ranger engulfed in flames and quickly extinguished the fire.

Inside the truck a male adult was found deceased prompting a homicide investigation.

Details regarding the fire and death were not immediately available.
