Snap On Truck Slams Into Work Van Sending It Into Drive Through
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 3-18-24. 8:12 a.m.
LOCATION: WB SR 60 and Perris Blvd

DETAILS:
- Riverside County Sheriffs, Moreno valley, Cal Fire Riverside County, Moreno Valley and California Highway Patrol, Riverside responded to a reported Snap On tool truck that went off the freeway and hit a second vehicle.
- When units arrived, they found one car and a Snap on truck with moderate damage and a work van with major damage.
- According to CHP, Riverside, the Snap On truck did not come off the freeway like it was originally reported but was exiting using the off ramp when for unknown reasons it collided with the white work van.
- The work van then hit a third vehicle.
- The work van finally came to rest about 50 yards from the Snap On truck, in the Jack In The Box restaurant drive through.
- Several street lights and a traffic signal light were hit and came down
- Three people were transported, 2 suffering major injuries.
- It is unknown what led to the collision.
- The intersection remains closed while police investigate.
