Slow Speed Pursuit Winds Through Houston Streets

11.04.2020 | 4:15 AM | HOUSTON – C1 deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for expired tags. The vehicle slowed down, and then took off on the deputies. A pursuit ensued, traveling north on airline, and then Hardy, then around surface streets between 45 and Hardy South of Aldine Bender. C1 and HCSO D2 both deployed spike strips successfully. the pursuit reached speeds of 80 MPH, but after losing 3 tires went down to 20MPH. Suspect was taken into custody 1 block later.
