Skyline: Pick-Up Truck Crashes Through Garage

DETAILS:
- A male was attempting to park his Nissan Pick-Up truck along the street when he had a medical episode.
- The driver unknowingly stepped on the accelerator and went through a chain-linked fence before crashing through the side of a neighbor’s garage.
- The man was uninjured in the crash and fortunately, there was no one inside the garage at the time of the crash.
- Firefighters responded and determined that the garage’s structural integrity was not compromised and allowed the residents to stay in the home.
- Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
- San Diego Police requested a medical evaluation follow-up from the driver to determine if any medical conditions will alter his ability to drive a motor vehicle.
