Skyline: 9 People Displaced in Fire/ Dog Saved After CPR is Given

 

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-13-23 4;02 am
LOCATION: 6621 Skyline Dr
CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:

  1. Firefighters responded to a fire in a two-story house.
  2. The fire was on the 2nd floor.
  3. There was heavy smoke coming out of the upper-floor windows.
  4. Firefighters broke in and found the living room on fire.
  5. They also found a dog that was not moving.
  6. While most firefighters attacked the fire, one firefighter grabbed the dog, which was not breathing, and took it outside, where he started CPR on the dog.
    Paramedics took over, and a pulse returned.
  7. The dog was rushed to a Vet by a Police officer.
  8. The dogs’ status is not known at this time.
  9. One man was evacuated from the first floor and suffered minor smoke inhalation.
  10. Nine people will be displaced and the American Red Cross has been requested to come and aid the family.
