Six Injured in Freeway Rollover Crash in Moreno Valley

At approximately 10:15pm on March 8th, 2026, California Highway Patrol officers and Cal Fire Riverside County crews responded to a reported solo vehicle rollover crash on eastbound State Route 60 east of Nason Street in Moreno Valley.

While units were en route, dispatch advised that multiple people were reportedly lying in the freeway lanes. Upon arrival, responders located an overturned Hyundai with six occupants involved in the crash.

Five ambulances and a supervisor were requested to the scene. All six patients were transported to local hospitals with moderate to major injuries.

According to CHP, speed was believed to be a factor in the collision. Authorities stated alcohol or drugs were not considered factors.

The right two lanes of the freeway were closed for cleanup and the investigation.
