DETAILS:

1. California Highway Patrol, Santa Ana, and Orange City Fire, with assistance from OCFA, responded to a solo vehicle traffic collision.
2. When units arrived, they found a solo vehicle that hit the sound wall head-on with the female subject trapped.
3. Fire fighters extricated the victim, extrication took about 15 minutes.
4. The woman was transported with unknown injuries.
5. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
