Simi Valley: Teens Escape Serious Injury In Fiery Crash

11.23.2019 | 12:20 AM | SIMI VALLEY – Several teenagers escaped serious injury after the vehicle they were riding in lost control before crashing and bursting into flames, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with fire on Long Canyon Road near Canyon View Drive around 12:20 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a single vehicle that had overturned before bursting into flames.

Three occupants were able to exit the vehicle before it was consumed by fire.

Firefighters extinguished the flames within several minutes and treated all three occupants on scene.

Only one of the three was transported to an area hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
