Simi Valley: Teenage Skateboarder Critically Injured After Being Struck

02.23.2019 | 8:41 PM | SIMI VALLEY – A 16-year-old skateboarder was critically injured after being struck by a car, Saturday night.

Authorities responded to the reported crash involving a skateboarder on Tapo Street just south of Township Avenue around 8:41 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a white Scion XB that had struck a 16-year-old male skateboarder.

The skateboarder was treated on scene before being transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the boy remained on scene and was cooperating with police.
