Simi Valley: Surveillance Video Captures Interrupted Home Burglary – Caught On Camera

03.08.2019 | 7:20 PM | SIMI VALLEY – Authorities were searching for three men who were caught on camera attempting to burglarize a home, Friday night.

Police responded to reports from a homeowner that they heard intruders inside their home in the 200 block of Shady Hills Court around 7:20 PM.

While officers were responding the residents advised they could see three male suspects dressed in all black exiting their home through a second-story on a surveillance camera.

Units responding established a large perimeter and enlisted the assistance of an airship to search for the burglars.

Despite their efforts officers were unable to locate the suspects however detectives are following up and reviewing footage captured by the resident’s home surveillance system.
